I have to say you made a very good point. You know the scientists, thealogians and bible experts along with other experts claim the Flood in Noah's day was just a local flood and not a world wide flood.

If the flood was just a minor local flood, it would have been a flood like in New Orleans and wouldn't have left Noah's Ark on top of Arrat Mountain. God promised not to flood the earth like that again, so the flood had to be a world wide flood and not just a local one or God Lied to Noah and all of us.

If the flood only flooded the middle east, the earth would have wobbled like a washing machine on an unbalanced spin cycle. The flood flooded the whole earth, so any country could have major floods, but not like the one in Noah's day.

John Haggie is a pretty good guy when it comes to his Bible. He knows a lot more about religion than your local church going, Bible toting Christians have learned in their lifetimes. He is confused about a few things, but he is beginning to reveal new things.

There aren't too many christians that know that God doesn't take peoples lives, satan does that. Satan has the power of death. Look at the book of Job. Satan couldn't touch Job until God lowered the wall around Job so satan could tempt him. Satan killed every member in Jobs family and even his livestock but God wouldn't let satan take Jobs life.

God didn't take all these lives, satan did. Job's friends accused Job of doing something wrong or God wouldn't be punishing him. Job told them he was a holy man, so he wasn't being punished by God.

God finally stepped in and raised hell with all of them even Job.

Look at what your average christians are talking about on these Blogs!

Small talk because they don't want to get anyone upset or have to prove anything to anyone. Things like Homosexuals and racism, things that happened 40 years ago that they don't understand how God could do that. They talk about Obama and Hillary as if either has a say in what they will be allowed to do if elected. They will raise taxes, take away more rights, increase the drug laws in this country instead of decreasing the drugs, put more older people on more drugs, raise the price of gasoline and destroy our economy.

Has everyone received their check from the government to help the economy yet? What the hell is a few hundred dollars going to do to help the economy when it will barely pay for your mortgage or a couple weeks groceries. All that money just raised the deficit, that's all.

All the church goers know, is the baby food that they have been fed by their church, and that is just on Sundays and maybe Wednesday nights. They can argue all about what the churches have taught them, but that is where it stops.

You gotta listen to people like John Haggie then reseach what he has said. Where did he come up with this? Don't just call him an idiot and move on. The man is making claims that should be proven or tested.

Same holds true with other Christian leaders. I wrote a letter to the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network. His best shot was, "many will prophecy in the last days." They put out a Bible called "The Book". It belongs in the trash.

It's time everyone should take a front seat at reading the Bible for themselves, then let the people take swings at them. That's when you know what you're made of. Anyone can repeat what they have been told for years. When you have to stand up on your own and speak out, it's a different story.

I never noticed it if you were. I think unique made that comment in a different way. I think he was saying that the truth is vulgar and disgusting, not you.

It is not just your generation but all have slowly allowed the toe hold to creep in almost unaware. It has to come about slowly in order to be deceptive. The master Demon Uncle Screwtape taught his nephew the young temptor Wormwood this on several occassions in the capturing of the "patient".

The biggest problem I see with everyone is not that they underestimate the power of God. They tragically underestimate the clever and cunning Satan and the magnitude of his power. He creeps in unaware.

Think how much more of a wrath he would have had if they were asking for the rights of Marriage. It was bad enough that they were living in the widespead and accepted lifestyle then. But to defamate the word of Marriage? Are we living in a time worse than Sodom and Gomorrah? There will be no fleeing this wrath to come on your own. You need and better have a good Mediator to defend you from it.

Great topic. It reminds me somewhat of reading C.S. Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters" where Uncle Screwtape teaches the young temptor Wormwood how to effectively be a master demon and how to secure "The Patient".

Have you read the screwtape letters? Lewis was a great writer. I have many of his books I have finished reading if you ever want to borrow any of them.

Uh... get a life? I mean, there is another blog with 96 comments and about 10 others with 100+ about the topic. But more than half of my post concerned the issue of TIME. I didn't see anyone post about California in the other blog, yet they all mentioned gays and more... So, perhaps if your childish name calling (which you said months ago, you were going to stop) appeases you then you deserve all the negative publicity you get. After all, everyone knows exactly why you're here...

Seems that if you were so worried about the time you and the rest of us have, you'd had found something better to do with it than write 115 blogs.... I mean after all, there are other things you could have done to PROVE you're a Christian other than talk a lot.

Like, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, taking care of the sick, LEADING people to God, not turning them away in droves. Nobody needs a fuzzy duck and cotton candy sermon as you like to call it, but perhaps a little coinciding your opinion with facts would assist in your endeavors. Time- It's something nobody has enough of, nobody can control, and the one thing that is constant. What you do with it, however, proves your true character. I've obviously decided that arguing back and forth with a self-righteous hypocrite is not the best way to utilize time-management. Michael, you spend entirely too much "time" focusing on the sins, the sorrow, the darkness, the improbable and impossible. Do you have ANY idea how many folks you could have done some first hand witnessing, not by profession of the tongue or typing upon a keyboard, but folks who could have been truly baffled by your true Christian actions. Instead, all they or anyone who had the chance for redemption have turned away and RAN because the picture you paint is bleak, unrealistic and on the brink of pure and total xenophobia. Many from generations before yours have played on the fears of the uneducated, taken from the innocent while claiming to give something... and truly done NOTHING positive, with their "time". Since my time is precious and I am hard pressed for much of it, I'll let the evil powers that be continue their blatant ignorance.

And is it me, or do all of your blogs serve no purpose? I mean, if they did... wouldn't we talk about something different instead of reverting back to the same old B/S? If we're trying to do justice,love kindness and walk humbly with God then it won't matter how much time we have because every second will be well-spent.

We won't have to worry about whether we'll join Jesus in Heaven because we'll be working alongside Him here.
