Signs Signs Everywhere Signs !

Posted Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 4:46 PM

The tribes of Israel disappeared into the mist of history since their exile from Israel in 722 B.c. There is a miracle to this story never the less. Redemption and return did not happen after a century or two but 2,000 years. We just had the 60th anniversary and the return of the remaining two tribes of Israel- Judah and Benjamin, later known as the Jews to their ancient homeland. Their dead language of Hebrew is being retaught to them as we speak about it. Israel is beginning to accept the cohabitation of a Jewish and Palestinian state the Arab's aren't. It has been said that Israel needs to be wiped off the face of the earth and all those who support her[last time I checked that included the U.S.A] It says in the prophecies that when the children are all home and their language is spoken again that the Messiah will come. We are living as in the days of Noah. Whether people want to believe it or not this country is not a Christian nation [it was founded on the beliefs , but has wandered far away , the same as Israel. God has used America to spread the gospel to more places and in more ways than any nation on earth therefore I still believe that it is a blessed nation. Cyclones, floods, fires, earthquakes, skyrocketing fuel and food cost. If you can't see that the time is near then you are as the blind in the bible and need Jesus to restore your sight. I used to worry about these things , now I embrace them for I know that Father is coming to get his children soon and bring back paradise on earth and in Heaven. There won't be know judges or courts to decide the right way ,it will be God's way. In California they are figuring out the proper wording on the new marriage license to acknowledge the gays, how sick is that? People need to look deep inside their souls and find their faith once again. Do I think that Islam and Christianity are sister faiths , not in the least. Witchcraft, Wicca, Scientology, Buddhism and all the others are going to lead people down the path of destruction. Thank God foe his mercy to let it go on this long to give people time to see the truth. Time is short , but the outstretched arms of Jesus are long for when he was asked how much he loved us , he stretched out his arms and died. None of the rest did that. Do I think that tragedy happens to cause people to repent, yes I do. It is bad that this happens for the ones who accepted Christ that die in these situations go home with Jesus , the rest just go. You never know when your last breath will be taken, secure your soul, ACCEPT CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR

Do you have ANYTHING to do? I mean, how many blogs must you write in one week before you scream, "I NEED ATTENTION... I NEED MORE COMMENTS..."

You don' like them , don't read them, how simple is that?

Or is something drawing you?

at this point, could you say he's "preaching to the choir"? it can be a little over the top. just being truthful.

I have to always catch up on your silly insinuations and hypocrisy, everyone needs a mind-boggling laugh every now and again (you just provide it, almost daily)... The T-G should design a comedy section and move your blogs there ;)

Nothing really draws me here... I don't have as much time on my hands as you.

From what I see there are many hypocrites in these blogs. Hard to believe many of the postings in here are from adults.

And from someone who reads the Bible how do you know tomorrow is promised for you?

hmmm, your title "Signs Signs Everywhere Signs !", made me think of our local signs code enforcer, Mr. David Langford. Which, btw is doing an excellent job, under extreme conditions.

I'm remembering the song that goes with this column.

"Sign Sign everywhere a sign

Blocking out the scenery breaking my mind

'Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?' "

Are we just living the lyrics that confuse or exclude-or do we remember how the song ends?

"And the sign said 'Everybody welcome, come in kneel down and pray'.

But when they passed around the plate at the end of it all,

I didn't have a penny to pay.

So I got me a pen and a paper and I made up my own little sign

I said 'Thank you Lord for thinking about me,I'm alive and doing fine.'"

We're here.

We have the choice of serving wisdom or foolishness, selfishness or love, fear or courage, creation or destruction.

We see signs that say "Stop" or "Caution" but they're outnumbered by the ones that give direction.

There are always signs that say "Go".

Thank you,Lord, for paying our toll and showing us the Way.

Thanks for the signs that lead us to the scenic routes and mend broken minds.

"Jesus wants

your soul to save

before you're defunct

like Burma-Shave."

We're alive-and,yes,we're doing better than o.k.

Thanks for thinking of us,God.

If we ever stop thinking of you, send that Bill Engvall fellow to give us a sign.

only god knows the end of times. if you spent more time saving peoples souls than searching for the end of time which is unknown, you have to much time on your hands for the negativity instead of giving people the hope of salvation. you need to quit comparing todays times to the bible and maybe get out and searchg for lost souls. remember you are not god.

How are they going to know there is something they need saving from if he does not show the negative. The positive is useless without a negative. Even a battery and a magnet know this and act accordingly.

Only God can save and keep a man's soul. Michael probably already has figured that out as you should learn so you will not be the one wasting time.

Learn what? That gays are the cause of the destruction of humankind? That because people don't think like Michael they are going to hell? Sorry but NONE of that is going to happen.

No. Learn only God can save and keep a man's soul.

You need to borrow my reading glasses evil monkey? :)

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Wed, May 28, 2008, at 6:51 PM

How can God save and keep a man's soul? Don't I have a choice? So how does God play a role in my choice?

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Fri, May 30, 2008, at 11:13 AM

Looks to me like you have a choice in allowing Him?

The original comment was in reference to adder's comment that said...." if you spent more time saving peoples souls"

My point back was that Michael probably already knew he himself could not save a soul. He is not a Savior himself and I think he knows who the Savior actually is.

I still offer my reading glasses? (grin)
