To my friends and people who I never met who read my blogs and like them or not.

Do not worry I am not going to let a few people steer me away from my mission.

No paper or college or person can make or not make a person a lover of Jesus Christ or make a person to spread his word.

A lot of people are in it for the money I am not one of them.

All I am trying to do is keep people informed of the oncoming tribulation and trials that Christian's will be going through.

Did you know there is a global i.d on the horizon, how about the food shortages, the death rate because of natural disasters, sounds like the 4 Horsemen are at full gallop to me to herald in the False Prophet and then Anti- Christ to serve Satan himself.

If Satan does not deter me from my mission and the Holy Spirit leads me there is no nascar or monkey or whoever else going to stop me.

39But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

40And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

41And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

42And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

The first thing I remember about reading your blog was saying to myself "He has to have a pretty tough hide to take the abuse he is given"

Rejoice that you are counted worthy to suffer for his name.

Regardless of what others say or do, myself included. You do what God has put on your heart to do. No one knows your relationship with God Almighty, and what he has asked you to do. He is the one you answer to. Just be true and sincere to his word. And he will remove all your stumbling blocks, and guide you through the right path.

God has the power to make everything and everyone true that has the will to conform to His wishes.

Even an ordained pup that got into the Word, fulfilled the requirements for legitimate accreditation and had acquired the appropriate state licensing, could work under an established counsellor and provide spiritual mentoring in areas such as Marriage and Family,Substance Abuse,Hospital Chaplain,Prison Ministry and many others.

If a parson's foundation is sufficient to support the advanced studies for his or her work, why would it not be sufficient in general?

We should all follow our heart..The only thing that bothers me with some of the things you say is when I read what you have to say about other people..Things you do not like about certain people...I just think if you really have God in your heart that you should not hold hate for people that live a different life than you...I have said it alot and God made us all different...I just do not think it is your place to strike out at so many different people...We should care about everyone...god's blood runs thru all of us...

Three blogs about the same damn thing. How miserable is your life that you can spend an eternity online touting your credentials, but not once work in the field upon which you supposedly got a calling.

It's ironic your pastor and umm nobody from your church blogs on here... I guess it's because they don't seek the glory and attention you strive for. They do their Christian deeds without recognition and don't try to steal the spotlight from God.

Your talk of damnation and the end times are moot points b/c for someone who seems SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO concerned with the end of the world, and the Anti-Christ, you are starting petty arguments that accomplish nothing, when (as stated a million times before) you could be doing something worthwhile.

When's the last time you donated money to a non-profit charity? Flown overseas to help the Red Cross? Traveled to New Orleans to help rebuild homes and give people the help they deserve? Did you got to NYC on 9/11 and help rescue innocent victims? Of course not, because it's much easier to talk about what isn't going to happen, than be a positive influence on what already is...

He didn't want to go there because them homosexuals would get him.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Thu, Jun 5, 2008, at 1:16 AM

How many of us did those things?

I know *I* never quite got around to it.

There are people in this town who have gone on missions while others have toiled quietly and unobtrusively at home.

Who knows what they have accomplished just by cutting a neighbor's grass, visiting a shut-in,calling someone the world's forgotten, helping someone with errands or just being a friend?

Sometimes watering a dog or planting a geranium or playing ball with a child can honor God as much as going to a ravaged country and building a hospital.

The person who learns the language of a neighbor, makes an extra serving of a dish that they can take to another, saves coupons to pass onto others and picks up items at yard sales for the less fortunate is also representing the faith.

We can ask others what they have done to reveal God in their lives but we need to ask ourselves the same questions.

It would be impossible for us to do too much on the Lord's behalf but anything we do with the resources we have counts.

We don't need to brag about what we've done or beat ourselves up over what we haven't accomplished.

We just need to do what we can with what we have to work with and try to see that every aspect of our lives is dealt with in a way that shows love, reason and integrity.

If we don't know how to start,we can ask the Lord to make some suggestions.

Maybe we'd work a food bank or donate blood or help at the Adult Learning Center or learn how to sign.

Maybe we'd do needlework for soldiers or babies in the hospital.

We might not be called to check out the United Way or any of the other charities.

Maybe we help someone fix their transmission or repair their hard drive.

I figure I need to build a Humanity house with the load of lumber I've been carrying around in my eye.

It's hampered my vision so much,I've barely been able to see the dust specks on other folk's lashes.

Before anyone can brag about what they've done, they would had to have done something... and he obviously doesn't beat himself up over the magnitude of events he hasn't lifted a finger for.

I'm not saying he has to do any of those things, I am simply stating it's much easier for him to sit here on a daily basis claiming to do EVERYTHING the Holy Spirit guides him to do... yet, somehow the Holy Spirit never guides him to GET UP and DO anything.

Yesterday when I was at Walmart as I was going to my car...There was a older man that had bought a 50lb bag of dog food and I saw he was having a little trouble getting it out of the basket into his truck....I went and helped him get it in his truck....I feed and water a beagle yesterday that was in my yard..I had never seen it before and he was kinda on the slim side..That was all yesterday...But today is a new day...Who knows what I will do today....

There is a dog behind my house. He never has water, the poor thing with the hot weather and all. I give it water all the time, he scares the crap out of me because he is a pitbull. But, he is the sweetest thing, he has such a crappy life living on a 6-foot chain. Actually, he acts really mean, but it might be my demonic appearance that subdues him LOL.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Thu, Jun 5, 2008, at 8:51 AM

Pit bulls (and monkeys) have a worse reputation than they deserve.

Anyone can come off bad if they're hurting or know no other way of acting.

It's amazing how amiable they can be when they are well-treated and approached as if they are worthy of respect and friendship instead of fear and disdain.

Sometimes, the menace we perceive is smarter and better-natured than we might give them credit for being before we know them.

-- Posted by quantumcat on Thu, Jun 5, 2008, at 9:02 AM

Evil Monkey...Thanks for giving him water...That is just terrible...I would have to go up and knock on the owners door and ask him if he would like to sit outside all day in the heat without water...I guess if I was on a short leash with no water out in the heat I would get a little cranky too and I am sure I would look mean...

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Thu, Jun 5, 2008, at 9:52 AM

I couldn't count the times on these blogs that I have seen posts that decry people judging other people and using Christian precepts to support that positon. I guess that applies to everyone except Michael.

-- Posted by devan on Thu, Jun 5, 2008, at 9:54 AM

Devan,

Are you starting to see what I have been saying all along? Well, kudos to you.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Thu, Jun 5, 2008, at 9:59 AM

I see, but my thought was that Michael is the one being judged now and for sometime. How is that any different than what he has done. Brotherly love is not just for those we already love and agree with. It should extend to those we have issues with also. We don't have to like to love in the agape way. I couldn't say it any better than this.

I think I'd need to carry a BIG box of baking soda around some of these guys.

If a spark from one person's crown of flames ever hit another's head anointed with oil,the resulting "scalp treatment" might cure some lousy attitudes but I don't think it would prove safe, comfortable or attractive.

Back some years ago, in a small town where I was living, arguments began to erupt in the various churches. It was perhaps coincidental, but interesting that all the various assemblies were in a state of turmoil. Being a florist, I was setting up a for a wedding in the chapel at the First United Methodist Church. The organist from the First Baptist Church was playing for the wedding, she and I are old friends. During the course of her practice and my work of course we had a conversation that went as follows:

Organist: You know they are having trouble here at the Methodist Church? But, so are we Baptists, and I hear that your church is also.

Me: That's right, I wonder if "they" are putting something in the water?

Organist: Maybe, I don't know, but in all my years, I've never known of a time when all the churches were fighting like now. (She plays another song, then stops and says) You know, I think it is the preachers. When a person claims to be a servant of God and his heart is right, if trouble breaks out, he will go to those involved and try his best to see that peace is the end result of the altercation.

But when the minister's heart is not right and he sees a little fire start, he'll rush right over and pour gasoline on that fire, just to watch it burn.

Are we making peace or tossing gasoline?

Are we making peace or tossing gasoline?

-- Posted by dmcg on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 5:33 AM

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Think about it and you will answer yourself.

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 7:45 AM

Why don't you post the book that came from and the chapter.

You can't find two verses out of the millions to justify your insanity PB, b/c for every one of damnation there is another for peace.

Such as "turn the other cheek"..

-- Posted by nascarfanatic on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 8:03 AM

You are probably right nascarfanatic (for every one of damnation there is another for peace). That indicates some balance between damnation and grace - can't have one without the other. So, when does the cheek turning start?

-- Posted by devan on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 8:34 AM

Considering the price of gasoline, perhaps we need to choose peace instead.

As I understand it,it's a great alternative fuel,it's a renewable resource and there's this guy named Jesus who'll let you have all you need for the asking.

(Superb post,dmcg.)

Parkerbrothers, the Lord WILL stir things up and cause conflict when the quiet is the result of stagnation and inaction and He determines that a bit of a shake-up is warranted.

There's a huge difference between spiritual growing pains and the agony caused by eating away at a healthy body.

When someone comes after you with a blade, look carefully to see if the wielder is a surgeon who seeks to preserve your life and make you more functional-or a fiend that needs to do away with you in the most painful and demeaning way possible.

God's way may make us feel worse before we feel better as we purge ourselves of toxins but the enemy will attack the soundest bodies the hardest and encourage distress that never leads to healing.

-- Posted by quantumcat on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 11:00 AM

nascarfanatic,

I actually figured that since you knew enough about the Bible to label "Paul the Fraud" you would know the the book and chapter without having to lead you there.

Mathew 10

Wise understanding Devan. One makes the other greater. The more the damnation the greater a Grace it is. You can only cheapen the Grace by discounting the Wrath and Damnation.

No one can ever understand the beginning of Grace until they recognize the finallity of Wrath and Damnation. It is that simple. Most Stumblingblocks are simple objects. You have to approach the Kingdom of God as a Child.

-- Posted by dmcg on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 5:33 AM

Sorry dmcg. I should have included these previous verses before the ones I sent you earlier. I believe they may answer part of the question about when the gasoline might come in.

14And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 12:26 PM

so basically what you are saying is, Break their legs, demoralize their spirit then maybe they will understand the loving grace of God. LOL how rich and insightfully deceitful.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 2:33 PM

Evil Monkey,

You like to use the word "basically'.

It is not the catch all you want it to be.

No, I do not want to break their legs or demoralize their spirit.

I do think someone has to see the fire before they will see a need to call the fire department though.

Basic common sense is all it takes to understand the simple plan of salvation.

You are over educated to the point you stumble over it.

The Pharisees and scribes had the same problem you do. They could not see a Living Savior when it was standing right in front of them. They were just too smart. They had it all figured out just like you do and frankly they just plain missed Him.

Until you can believe and know that He came out of the tomb everything is in vain. That is the hardest part to get past but it has to occur.

I respect your belief and you but I will always know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Christ is risen and alive today and forever.

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 3:35 PM

It is all lies. And I can use whatever word I can, At least they aren't lies.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 4:32 PM

"Savior" is dead. Nuff said.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 4:33 PM

Evil Monkey,

I wish you knew the Living Savior. We would not have these problems if we had the same Savior.

If yours is dead enough has been said.

The One I know looks over you as he did Jerusulem and wishes he could gather you under his wing as a hen would her chicks. I truly understand why He wept.

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 5:00 PM

Whether you accept the Bible as literally true or mythically true, we all must agree that the central message is not one of hate for and derision among our fellow man.

I am certainly not one to embrace the 'christian inspiration' genre of popular literature, but it seems many (myself included) would benefit from Robert Young's THE SHACK. If you can get past the emotional intensity of the first few pages, you may find a powerful lesson.

-- Posted by gottago on Fri, Jun 6, 2008, at 5:24 PM

Two pieces of fiction are making the rounds that feature a cabin and a perplexing trio.

Both feature a male and two females.

One is a story of murder.

The other tells of God and the human heart.

Guess which of the pair would unnerve people more?

-- Posted by quantumcat on Sat, Jun 7, 2008, at 8:09 AM

No, parkerbrothers, You want me to believe like YOU do, I don't, When Christ died, he never rose because that would be a lie. Much like anything you and michael have stated for the past 8 months. As you two have shown me, Christians lie, and when they are caught they deceive, twist words, and avoid the issues regarding it.

They use elementary school tactics to turn it around on the other group of people that don't believe as they do.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Sat, Jun 7, 2008, at 1:12 PM

Shame on you EM, I know you don't believe that He never rose. But I can understand the angst you feel from the previous messages of PMB. I am thankful I do not attend a church that spouts such hate, judgment and nonsense. Everything in the Bible can be twisted to be used for someone's argument or against another person. But God said in Matthew 7:1-2 Do not judge lest you be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure it will be measured to you. Ahhh, perhaps we should take a look now at the way these others judge and not worry so much. Perhaps God will take care of it Himself in His own time.

Reading further in Matthew 7 it says, Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

So when those that judge you and want to take out the speck and for those that say do not throw your pearls before swine,

God says, "Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you. For everyone, (not just the supposed few,) but everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.

Ahhhh, so perhaps those that are looking will find what they seek? it doesn't take a judgmental hypocrite to pound it into everyones head? Hmmmm, perhaps those things people feel "led" to do might be the work of someone other than God.

In Matthew 7:16 You will know them by their fruits...18 A Good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 21 Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in Heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, "Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in Your name and in Your name cast out demons and in Your name perform many miracles?" I will declare to them, "I never knew you" Depart from Me -you who practice Lawlessness.

Strangely, only those who truly understand these words will understand how far away they are from truth...

-- Posted by leChat on Sat, Jun 7, 2008, at 3:04 PM

Evil Monkey,

Yes, I do wish you believed in a resurrected Savior as I do.

The trivial things such as certificates, the validity of the Gospel of Thomas, etc. are things I do not worry about so much.

But if you believe Jesus did not rise from the tomb everything is in vain.

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Sat, Jun 7, 2008, at 3:08 PM

Parkerbros. I do not wish that EM believed as you do because you back up a man who is constantly judging others, harbors hate toward the masses of people (even though he does not know them) and is negative towards others who preach and send out positive messages about our Lord and Savior. No, EM is searching and that is a good thing. He does seem to find just the right words to set people off on tangents, but he isn't evil, just mischievous!

BTW: it is wrong to think that misrepresenting oneself as a pastor by using online certificate to make yourself "look" valid. It is LYING! God hates lying Right?

Whether or not one looks at other books not in the bible is their own problem providing they don't mind of others want to search for truths that have been deliberately left out for one reason or the others, many people have their own agendas.

Be careful whose side you take when siding with believers, many have led people astray and God is not happy with them. Remember the group that followed that charismatic pastor to Mexico only to be poisoned by koolaid...they went to their deaths led my a "nut."

It is ok to state your belief in Christ as the risen savior, as God is our Heavenly Father...Michael Bell is not a pastor if his only claim to fame is an online certificate as Evil Monkey is not a pastor since he has a similar certificate. This man is a sad little man with little to recommend him but his hate, his small mindedness and his singular chant of hating homosexuals, troubled girls that have had abortions and the like. Where is the love of Christ in this rhetoric? I would love to know. You seem fairly intelligent, think about what Christ did, He died on a cross like the thief next to him, in shame and degradation, without a word of hate passing his lips, did he do that for just Michael Bell, No, he did it for all of us including all those people that Michael continues to bad mouth. God loves us All, so much so that He gave us His Only son, to die for all of our sins. Right? So, if you believe in the resurrected Savior, Believe that He died for everyone, even EM and those that questions Michael Bell's hatefulness. I see no love in this man, just judgment.
