Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there and to remind them of their Father in Heaven for everyday is his day.
Fathers are to be provider, protector, the spiritual head of the house, but most of all to be present when the children need them.
My dad was and still is all of these.
He would tell me that his Father in heaven was always there for him and he would be for me. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Happy Fathers Day to all father's out there.....
Amen!
Special thanks should also go to the fathers who are kin to us through the spirit and not just through the flesh.
Sometimes, our earthly dads can't do it all.
That's when our other family members, our friends, neighbors, teachers, pastors, etc. add their talents.
Blessed are the Godfathers who are truly men of respect and give of their time and their love to nurture, guide and protect the children around them.
Praise all who demonstrate their manhood by their gentleness and sense of honor.
Thanks to the people who strive to be the people they want their children to become.
Happy Father's day!
Days like today make me remember my Daddy.
Even though he has been gone from this earth 17 years. My Dad died a untimely death from cancer. We watched him suffer and fight until the end.
One of the hardest things I have ever done in my lifetime was watching him suffer.
My Daddy was a strong proud man. He never met a stranger, his kindness touched many people.
I remember his practical jokes, his smile, the way he would look at me from over the top of his glasses when he was angry with me. We never wanted for anything as children, Daddy always managed to provide whatever we wanted or needed. If Mom said No we knew Daddy was the soft spot.
In my Heart he will always be "My Little Daddy".
So here's to you Daddy, I still hear your voice and see your smile. I miss you even now.
