Sunday Morning Ramblings.

Because of work plus a personal situation and a brief vacation I have missed church the last few Sunday's, shame on me!

I have not let up in my studies though so here goes a few things.

http://www.onenewsnow.com/Legal/Default....

People say that Christian rights are not being taken away but is this not proof.

Should someone be forced to pray? the answer is no!

They should not be denied the right either.

I watched a show on the evolution of man this weekend and they stated that is was not the use of tools or brain power that evolved.

Some species that they called "Lucy" decided to walk upright, yeah right !

If that is the case then man is still evolving because to walk upright is to walk right in the Lord.

Why has nothing evolved in out lifetime?

BIG BANG- God said bang and there the world was!

Some people made comments towards my ordination papers here is a few questions.

A person goes to med school to learn to "practice" medicine.

A person goes to law school to learn to "practice" law.

We all who believe the bible to be God's word do not need school to "practice" our beliefs.

We live it , walk it breath it and eat it.

Those papers were issued by the class not requested by me.

My bible and my testimony are all the credentials I need!

I have wondered if the penalties for crime in this country were more harsh if the crime rate would come down?

Stealing - first offense- two fingers.

second offense-two more.

third offense- whole hand.

Rape- sodomy- child molesting- automatic castration, there is no second or third offense.

Murder- death sentence- no second chances.

All I am saying is that if a person knew that this could happen to them for a crime , would that not deter it ?

Al they get now is "three hots and a cot"

I make the joke that the only thing that scare me about prison is "Big Bubba" ,no explanation needed.

In research , the thought of being "stoned" in ancient times deterred a lot of people from committing crime.

For science to say that man has evolved so much through the years, have we really?

I have evolved into a "son of God" who seeks him everyday to evolve into what he desires.

And for all these people who want to take away parents rights to correct their kids and teach them the way they see fit.

God gave them to me and he guides me the way I should raise them don't need no help thank you.

By the way I have seen all these help groups for things like

AAA DARE and all of those , they are great don't get me wrong, but the greatest one is JCON.

JESUS CHRIST OF NAZERETH, he will set free , not from anything, but from everything.

"Deterrents" only go so far.

If someone's normal life is hideous, how can the powers that be subtract any pleasure or add any torment that the enemy has not already done?

How can any of us even think about adequate measures without using a hellish mindset?

Do we want people so trained to respond to the carrot or the stick that they would follow evil for temporary pleasure or avoid righteousness because it was difficult, unpopular and subjected them to danger and pain?

The foe has minions who do not dread the consequences of their actions.

They do his bidding out of fear of him (or because they know nothing else) even when they aren't seduced into compliance by promises of power and indulgence.

He has unwitting helpers who aid his cause by the words they fail to speak and the action they do not take.

God needs people who would face the battlefield, the arena, the stake, the showers and even cellblocks full of Big Bubba or Big Bertha.

He needs people who could lead people to the Lord even under the shadow of Death or torture.

Christ requires people who can even withstand the lure of calm and prosperity if they would cause us to lower our defenses or be less sensitive to the needs of others or God's will.

If we forget how to teach without thought of reward or penalty, then we impose an idea that we only do good when we "get something out of it" and we refrain from evil until we find something that seems worth the punishment or until we think we won't get caught.

We compete. We strive for recognition and approval and we forget to find intrinsic worth in what we do.

We forget to do things just because they need to be done.

"Discipline" that relies on hitting or threats of death or removing perks and privileges have little effect if the person knows that he lives by luck and others' whims anyway.

A system that fails when authority is abused or when a person "gets by" with his foolishness does little to encourage fairness or personal responsibility.

We need to help people grow their own consciences and willpower and cultivate the strength to not only defend their souls against an infernal attack but to have the wisdom and stamina to take the offense against the adversary.

Let the intermittent, arbitrary conditioning to modify behavior take a back seat to doing God's will just because it IS God's will and let the positive outcomes be afterthoughts.

Pretending that behavior has no consequence (or none that isn't imposed from outside) is ridiculous but if we look only at the cost of a course of action,we lose sight of why it should be taken or avoided in the first place.

People who don't have an internal control on their behavior can delude themselves into thinking that any censure they receive is "the Man" being mean.

They can decide that "if it feels good,do it" even if it leads to their destruction."

They can decide that only those things that are easy and fun are worth their time.

We approach a time when punishment will be applied for prudence, industry, honor and similar dangerous concepts.

There will be little emphasis on repentence or reformation.

(One will either belong to Hell or be eliminated.)

God's people will be the only ones around to remind people that a move toward God is so much more than a move away from satan.

We need to help people gain wisdom and meekness or they won't have the discernment or free will to be more than a pawn.

They have to be able to do right (even when their "programming" would insist they do otherwise ) or they won't be able to enlist with God and take part in Heaven's victory.

Wow, the best part about this blog is the title... RAMBLINGS... blah blah blah blah blah... Such an unhappy man you are. It has to suck to be so unhappy and continually wondering "what if" about everything. You're faith isn't as strong as your vocal chords.

FYI I could not be happier because I can hear Jesus shuffling his feet across Heaven asking the Father "When?" The Father says "Soon and very Soon"

The trumpet is fixing to blow and the dead will rise and I am going to be caught up.

Jesus is going to judge the world and grant his children kingdoms to rule.

So I am just full of joy for the time is near to where I won't have to wonder what if, for Jesus will say "It is my will" and no judges or aclu or lawyers can change it.

That is what makes me happy for the time is ever so close.

Be Ready! He is coming Back!

Helps me understand why we were told to pray:

thy kingdom come;

thy will be done,

in earth as it is in heaven.

I dont know . . . blasphemy and false teachings may land you in a different direction with the gnashing of teeth and eternal fires of hell.

I wouldnt be too quick to wish the coming of the Lord . . . especially the way you pass judgment. That same judgment may be passed on to you.

jaxspike,

Who is your post directed to?

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 11:20 AM

Its a supa Sekrit! Take a guess.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 12:11 PM

I thought I was being obvious . . .

-- Posted by jaxspike on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 12:56 PM

amen jaxspike about the blasphemy and false teachings and it should be aimed at the parker brothers and michael.

-- Posted by adder on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 1:15 PM

jaxspike,

Not obvious enough. I did not want to comment on it if it was not directed at me. Sorry.

-- Posted by parkerbrothers on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 1:32 PM

adder,

What do you think are false teachings and blasphemy from me?

I guess I could do like everybody else and scream you are judging but I know better than to make such a false comment.

-- Posted by jesse sellers on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 1:37 PM

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 4:35 PM

What does SFGTD mean?

-- Posted by jaxspike on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 7:08 PM

It's a Sekrit cult thing they have going.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Mon, Jul 7, 2008, at 7:18 PM

Good guess monkey, but as usually incorrect.

-- Posted by jesse sellers on Tue, Jul 8, 2008, at 4:19 AM

I am not incorrect, everything you believe in and how you believe it, by using fear, hate and intimidation is called a CULT. So thank you again for confirming my suspicions all along.
