The Black Horse

6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Revelation 6:5-6 KJV

This era is known as the one of the black horse, which I truly believe we are in at this very moment. The era of physical and spiritual famine.

We all know of the ongoing famines in Africa and other places, but we are starting to see some here, with the price of food, people have to choose between it and other expenses.

I read a interesting study on the honeybees going down in number for no apparent reason which will have a devastating effect on our food supply

This famine is obvious and may be no hope for this to be solved, because as this horsemen rides it just gets a whole lot worse.

There is also a spiritual famine as spoken of in the book of AMOS!

8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find [it]. 8:13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. 8:14 They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

Amos 8:11-14 KJV

The spiritual famine, in my opinion started when the crazy ideal of silencing the Christians and by taking the separation of church and state to far.

But just think, if the when the church is raptured up, whether pre- mid , or after, or if my becoming a martyr, the Word of God is silenced!

There may be a few left that pretends the spread the word.

This is horse is presently riding and fixing to pass the reigns on the the final horse, the pale one which brings death which will usher end the end of days, What is that noise, sounds like the saddle is being cinched up and nostrils flaring as he is fixing to be unleashed, until tomorrow, Be Blessed!
