Does History Repeat Itself ?Posted Sunday, March 1, 2009, at 6:11 PM
I am sure some missed me and some did not but that is life. Now to the topic at hand"does history repeat itself?" I believe without a shadow of a doubt it does. God's Word [what I will call the bible from here on out] states the following: 1:9 That which hath been is that which shall be; and that which hath been done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 1:10 Is there a thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been long ago, in the ages which were before us. 1:11 There is no remembrance of the former `generations'; neither shall there be any remembrance of the latter `generations' that are to come, among those that shall come after. Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 Everything that is happening has already happened, whether in a past era, age or another dimension. The doctrine of pre-destination is the most controversial in God's word, to think that the Almighty God would choose a nation or a people over another just can't be comprehended. He did not choose a nation for Abraham was called out, not because of his lineage, but because of his faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God, no matter what your lineage. All of Israel will be saved, whether that means the descendants or the ones of faith, well that is yet to be seen. For a Jew to claim precedence over other semitic people because of their birthright is the same as a Christian claiming precedence because he or she goes to a certain church or church in general. For in Christ none of that matters! As far as history having parallels in time, I was doing some reading on the history of Israel, and since they became a nation [a prophecy fulfilled in scripture]they have fought wars, the thing is the wars are in the same order as the wars of ancient Israel. That being the case Persia or Iran as we call it will be next, and we know the ill feeling the leadership of Iran has for Israel. With the election of the new prime minister Benjamin Netenyahu of Israel who has already stated that Iran cannot and will not achieve a nuclear weapon it seems as this will also come to pass. While the economy falters ,the powder keg known as the Middle East has turned the heat up a few 100 degrees. When the soldiers leave Iraq, they might as well shift to Israel for war is eminent. You can read the history of Rome and Israel and see the past present and yes the future of America for there is nothing new, only the names change. The economy, allowing ANY religion whosoever in the country, the immoral lifestyles[ which shall remain nameless] armies spread thin, and most of all trying to get ever semblance of God out of the nation except for the God of secularism and the God of self. America has set upon her perch for over 200 years and that perch is getting shaky, like when I was a kid we would play "King of the Mountain" you may be King for a while, but somebody will always knock you off. The only Eternal King is Jesus Christ and he is coming to claim his Kingdom which I gladly serve. Remember your past or you are doomed to repeat it! Some may be be following prophecy because they want to I believe some are destined to.
I take God's word as truth so it will come to pass as the prophets of old said it would.
Let's remain joyful and look up in hope to see history repeat itself soon, almost 2000 years later.
And let's not forget about a repeating cycle that is due up in 3 1/2 years on December 21, 2013.
Simply astonishing how the Mayans could predict a cycle that only occurs every 26,000 years down to the day in the time period they existed. The greatest tool or instrument they had was a naked eye. Or was it?
I've watched and studied the tremendous effects of just a small moon on our planet's tides and currents. How much greater a set of forces will be displayed with the coming alignment as each planet's forces multiply and accelerate the pulls toward the sun? Almost like a filmed shotgun blast in reverse. Instead of the particles leaving the source at high speed and then slowing and spreading they would slowly increase speed and funnel in closer together as they speed faster past each planet toward the sun source. I would think that the planets closer to the sun would be more probable and likely to have to absorb the blow from one of the particles since the particles should be getting closer and tighter in pattern as they head back to the source?
Since the tribulation period is 7 years and broken down into two seperate halves of 3 1/2 years each with the latter half being more severe and called the great tribulation I wonder could we be approaching the rapture and the starting of the tribulations in a few months (July 21, 2009) with the last half, the great tribulation, activated by major catostrophic disasters from the major alignment that occurs on December 21, 2013?
I guess the alignment on December 21, 2013 could also be veiwed as the just the beginning of the tribulations instead of the midpoint but all the events foretold in the Bible seem to better descibe it as possibly the midpoint.
Irregaurdless of what if anything it is I still know I am one day closer to the Blessed Hope than I was yesterday.
Today be joyful and with anticipation await that day.

You know, blogs are usually written about a persons likes or dislikes as a way to express his or her feelings. I happen to love biblical prophecy and like to share it with as many as I can.

I think the date for the alignments is December 21, 2012.

Where are our scientist posters and their Hypotheses to explain what is going to happen?
If all the planets line up perfectly in a straight line, we should see the sun turn as black as sackcoth. Might even get to see a blood red moon.
The earth will not get bombed by meteorites and destroyed. Scientists have already told us that a big meteor would destroy most life on earth and destroy the atmosphere for thousands of years. The earth would burn up first, then freeze over in an Ice Age again. (History repeating itself)
There is a common belief that the Mayan calendar holds a prophecy that the world will end on December 21, 2012.
According to PB's wondering question, this would move the rapture back prior to July of 2008 if 2012 signaled the beginning of the second 3 1/2 years of the 7 years. The rapture would be over and only non Christians would be on the earth today.(All born again Christians allegedly are raptured up according to Christians) This is not true! It is just an old preacher's tale.
The earth will not be destroyed by these planets lining up in a row and causing meteor showers on earth or the sun.
The bible tells us that God comes to earth as Jesus Christ when the beast confesses to be God at the end of the first 3 1/2 years. The earth turns on God and tries to destroy Jesus and His army. The kings of the earth are defeated by Christ.
This prophecy could not be fulfilled if the earth is destroyed by Meteors or a Nuclear War. The Nuclear war will no doubt be the world coming against Christ with their weapons of mass destruction. Only thing is: No weapons formed shall stand against God.(Isaiah 54:17)
Scientists can claim anything they want to, but by their own confessions, they do NOT PROVE anything is true. They only try to prove something is NOT TRUE, but that doesn't MAKE IT TRUE!
Y2K12 will come and go just like the Y2K came and went with no problems. The Y2K12 could possibly be the beginning of the 7 year reign of the anti-christ but not the middle of the 7 year period.
I also believe that the false prophet will appear 6 months before we know who the anti-christ will be.

Actually it states that the world would end as we know it. (Mayan belief)
This 2012 alignment is not a planetary alignment, it is is a Galactic Alignment. It is a little more Rare. What are the ramifications? None. (scientific fact)

Wrong. Add it up, 3 1/2 years from June 21, 2009 will be December 21, 2012.
If you could not count and keep up with my goats I should have known you could not keep up with the days. :)))

No, I think you did a pretty good job of it yourself.
That is foolish Michael. You can die a thousand deaths if it makes you feel more relevant. In the end though who wins, those willing to do die for their beliefs, or those willing to kill for them? No disrespect to anyone's religion, but if you or anyone else could formulate a logical argument to defend any one of religions on the planet (an argument that doesn't require mythology or grand leaps of faith) then you might actually convince me. But since that is 100% impossible, I must pass on it at this time. It may make me a Pharisee(in the separatist sense of the word) in some people's eyes here in the Bible Belt, but luckily for me other people in the world see things differently. From you however, I must take your comment with a grain of salt because I have met you and I already know you are a few cards short of a full deck.

If you add 6 moths to "July 21, 2009" (which is the date you quoted above) it would be January 21, 2010, then add 3 years to that and it comes up to January 21, 2013.
You tried to humiliate me by changing the date to June 21, 2009 to make me out to be stupid and don't know how to count up to 3 1/2 when you posted:

Adding 3 1/2 years on to "June 21,2009 you would come up with December 21, 2012, but you didn't say June you said July.
Just like your original post about your "TWO" (2) imaginary goats that some how multiplied into a herd of goats over night. That would only mean that I didn't sacrifice the two goats but bred them into a herd of goats which would now belong to me, just as Jacob done to Laban, the son of Be-thu'el.

Nobody said the world would "END" the bible says the world will go on forever the age or era might end the same as the dinosaurs, or as in the days of Noah. All eras or ages must come to a end.
The world may end as we know it.

I posted the original post and wanted to see who would notice the date descepencies to the Mayan calendar and the Biblical 3 1/2 years backdating.
If you will notice one of the dates were off by one year and also then the other by one month.
Nathan Evans was able to see the yearly one so at least I know he is aware of the Mayan calendar.

Everything has value, even a goat. However I was just trying to help you conserve a little of your jaw (which has some value) by telling you that even the billy goats had enough sense about the rapture so you would not resort to them as a last resort in trying to find someone or something that would believe in your secret gnostic information.
And by all means do not get to thinking you can sacrafice one of them on the mountain for an atonement of your sin.
Just like the herd of goats parkerbrothers confessed to giving me so I could sacrifice them for my sins, (why else would he throw a herd of goats at me) just to ask for them back now. We always called that an Indian Giver when I was a kid when someone took back what they gave.
