My fishing Buddy"the Bruiser"
Just a quick word ,I got me a truck finally so I can enjoy my favorite hobby, FISHING! I have not gone in a long while, but something was still missing, a dog.

Sure I have a lapdog and I have had a car, but who would believe a fish story from a guy who carries a Chihuahua fishing in a car, you know what I mean.

Seen the add in the Times Gazette and called it , the dog was in Pleasant Grove, pretty countryside!

Meet Buddy the Bruiser, yeah that is his name.

Enjoy the holiest of seasons Passover, the birth of Christ was great, but would have meant nothing without the death.

Hebraic Treasures P2 later this weekend Be Blessed!

I am tired of the passover being related to the death and ressrection of Christ. The passover is aJewish festival commemorative of the exodus of Egypt and it starts(according to Strong's and his concordance) Passover starts in the Jewish month ?Nisan on day 14-21 which corresponds to our months of March-April. So need to get facts straight before trying to associate things with the resurection. Just because it falls in the same time period as to what is believed to be the time of the resurection doesn't mean it has anything to do with it.

Hey Micheal The death may be the most important thing to you but the resurection has more meaning than the death. Because with out the resurection there would not be any salvation.

Bruiser looks like a handsome boy! Congrats on your new friend!

Depends on how you look at it darmstrong . . . Christ died on the cross for our sins. If he didnt do that then where would Chritianity be today? But yeah, kind of stupid to argue about which one is important because they are ALL important.

So Michael believe different than you . . . that is life and religion and why we have so many different denominations. Negative attacks do nothing except show how trivial some people can be.

ANYWAY . . . about the actual post, the dog looks great. Dogs can make such great friends and are amazing pets.

Michael, If you get many more dogs, I heard you might wind up in the doghouse yourself. Come on Michael there is a limit to just how many stray animals you can rescue by yourself. You have others who need your attention too, and I don't mean the animals either. Just think about it and you'll see I'm right. Anyway I still love you and I hope I am still on your someone you care about list. See you Easter Sunday I hope.

Like I tell the rest of them, if you don't like me points of view then that is your option!

I will keep writing what I feel that God has laid on my heart.

People try to take the Jewishness completely out of Christianity , and you just can't do that.

If you are one of those who believes in "replacement theology" than I feel for you for No One will ever take the place of the Jews!

I will see you Sunday AuntieFaye, and all is taken care of here as far as I know, I just wanted a big dog and I goy him, and you are still on my list.

oh wow he is a beauty. I am so glad you adopted. that is very special. Almost all of my animals we have are rescues.. they are so loving and grateful.

Have a great week Mike.

See Micheal I am not trying to take the jewish side out of it I am just wanting the facts to come out according to what the bible teaches. And there is no where in the bible that I have been able to find where Jesus was called rabbi. I know where he was called a Prophet and King but never Rabbi. Because to I ahve yet to see where the Apostles taught the Church in the N.T. to take part in the Jewish Passover. What ever you find in the old Covent (O.T) with the jews doesn't mean every one of the carried over into the New Covent(N.T.) with the Church. I know we are to support and help the Jewish Nation which I do with my prays and taxes(which may not be the case soon if OBama has his way). So show me in the bible and I mean in the bible where Christ was a rabbi and where is the Church doctorine of passover is. I don't want opinions and feelings I want bible facts in these areas. And if you cannot find them you should not be trying to lead people down a road of man made unbiblical doctrine.

Beautiful dog Mike. I love the markings on him.

They really make the best of buddies. Nothing but pure unconditional love.

darmstrong,

Try reading the gospels sometime. John in particular might help you get started on the right path to seeing your error.

darmstrong,

Also trace the word rabbi back through the translations to become familiar with its' meaning.

Matthew 23:7-8

John 1:38

John 1:49

John 3:2

Okay I see the Rabbi issue but where is the passover doctrine or any other hebrew festival doctrine found at?

-- Posted by darmstrong on Fri, Apr 10, 2009, at 4:52 PM

Christ said he did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it.

I am not saying that you have to keep any festival , I just think it would be great to study the three main feasts together, and maybe next year, good Lord willing, we could enact a actual passover, or a feast the other feasts.

I am starting to see about when people started making comments about only taking certain parts of the old out, like tithing, and views on certain issues that are a hot topic today.

Me holding a passover makes me no better than anyone else, I just hope that by showing people the feasts that they may see the reality of Jesus and come to realize that he is the only way.

If , no not if but when I attempt to hold a authentic passover, you and everyone else is invited , not out of obligation, but out of love for the same Jesus I worship.

darmstrong,

Just as the Lord passed over the homes covered with the blood of a perfect sacrafical lamb without blemish during the final plaque of the 10 against Egypt.....He likewise will pass over us if we are covered with the blood of the last needed Sacrafice of the Perfect Lamb during the 7 coming plagues which I sense are at the door.

I hope you are observing Passover and have come in contact with the Blood of the Lamb. All Christians actually in essence participate in the true Passover daily.

Parkerbrother,

I know what you are trying to say. But it is tought that if you are unsaved you will be left behind not passed over. And the seven so called coming plagues you are talking about I hope is what the nbible says is the great tribulation. Because the only place in the bible about anybody recieving the 7 plagues is in Revalations 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of thi book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.

Meaning if anyone adds to the bible will have add to them the seven plagues spoken of in the bible. And yes I am saved and has been saved since I was 18. I know I will not be left behind when the last trumpet sounds and the lord shouts come hither unto me. But your last statement to still didn't give any kind of biblical support for it like I oringinally asked for.

The wrath of God will passover the saved and onto the ones left behind (without).

Just as in the original Passover, He passed over the ones covered by the blood and His wrath feel on the ones left behind (without).

darmstrong,

I think it was adding unto the words of the prophecy of the book of Revelation that John was referring to.

Revelation 22:18

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

I commend you & Bruiser..enjoy fishing and each others company. I also rescued a dalmatian two weeks ago tomorrow. Her name is Tilly and she is amazing. She has become a very important part of our family. Tilly still needs some adjustment time but we'll work on it together.
