The future

I spent the day with my daughters at Fellowship for Christ Church today which was the 2nd of a two day affair of V.B.S, it was a blast.

To see children do crafts and be told the Word of God and to teach them to be "fishers of men" as we were commanded to be by Jesus himself shows me there is a glimmer of hope in the youth of today.

It was fun as fun could be, but on a serious note for these are the Christian soldiers being prepared for the upcoming war, for the ones with the heart and devotion to follow Christ and to know that he is the reason for all seasons, and without him we are nothing, we will help put the full armor of God on them and march with them into battle.

I just hop these kids have the nerve this one had when the time comes, and the time will come.

Supposed to be "hope" my bad.

you take a joyous occasion for the children and then have to put a negative in it. you can not predict the future so don't make it look so grim for these children

for these children, the ones who know Jesus the future is not grim.

So does that mean all the kids who do not follow your lead are doomed?

not my lead for I will fail them, but the lead of Jesus for he will never fail them.

I was there and it was a blast seeing them kids learn abut Jesus and how to be fishers of men as it says in Matthew 4:19. God was there and I felt blessed. Keep up the good work Fellowship Of Christ!

It eas the best VBS I have had the honor to be involved with. The kids had a ball and so did the staff. Thanks to everyone that helped in any way. If we touched one child in a positive way then all the work and effort was worth it and judging by the smiles I would say we accomplished that purpose as well

I haven't heard anything from our church about VBS yet. VBS is always fun, and educational. Our youth went to Beach Bend this past Saturday, then they stopped at Ryans restaraunt that night on the way back. I was unable to attend because of a threatened miscarriage on the 22nd. I have been placed on Bedrest with lots of fluids. It was horrible and scarry; I still do not know if my little fetus is alive or not. I will have to wait until July 9th. when I go to see a new doctor. Prayers needed.
