Return To The Pulpit!

Posted Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 2:56 PM

I am totally moved and slowly readjusting to country life, it has been since I was about 12 since I left the country. Back to cutting wood and busting wood and bringing wood in the house, by the way if anyone has any trees that have fallen and need cutting up let me know.

My wife has never lived in the country so she will take more time to adjust, as for me I love it!

I hope with the seclusion I can re motivated and re inspired to start my book, I have a publicist and she is patiently waiting , God Bless her!

I had no satellite or internet for 2 weeks so I am trying to catch up on the news, I did catch the Home Depot story, one more reason why Christians have to stand and fight for their rights the same as everyone else!

We missed church for two weeks which totally stunk, but between the move, and recovering from the move rest was needed.

Speaking of church, come check out Fellowship for Christ and you will be changed, come as you are but leave changed.

Used to I would say God Family and Country came first in my life, well that has changed, God Family Church and then country is the new pecking order, God will never change, my family either, a true church and follower of God's Word won't either, but as far as Country, it is just like yesterday's fashion!

I will leave you with a coll story I heard.

A man arrives in a small town and gets off the bus and walks around and ask where the local church is, he comes to an old man on a park bench and takes a seat to rest. They start talking and the visitor ask where the church is, the old man replied"you a preacher" the young man replied"yes" he gives a list of all his degrees and so forth.

The Old man says that there is but one church in town and his degrees are not what is needed, the young man replied" that is OK I will preach whatever they want to hear" The old man said "I thought so " He got up and said" just like all the rest preach what they want to hear and not what God and his Holy Word the Bible says to preach"!

To many start out as good men of God but the lure of money and prestige and being liked take them away, God will provide the money, Your prestige is in God, not man, and if a Preacher is liked by everyone then he is not doing his job God called him to do!

I ain't liked by many, so I must be doing something right.

Till next time, God Bless!

It's nice to see some on here aren't embarrassed by their Faith, and are Proud to Spread His Word to others, so that they too may know His Gift of Love and Sacrifice for mankind.

Spread His Word, for the end comes like a theif in the night. It is nearer than we think. God Bless You!

Yes indeed, Mr. Bell.

Good to see you back.

It's been a rather....unique 2 weeks.... in a lot of ways.

I bet, I sorely missed the conversations, and as we get closer to the end of days and eternity with Jesus[ some of us that is] they should and will get more intense for I am doing some intense research and will share my findings.
