If you have never watched The Daily Show or don't know who John Stewart is you might want to check it out. The show does a great job of showing the public the irony and hypocrisy that exists on television news networks. Last night's episode was classic and very entertaining.

The Daily Show is on Comedy Central at 10pm Central Time.

Nathan - did you catch last night's episode? I loved how no one could define "small town values."

He probably wanted her to say she SOLD it on eBay, but maybe her values said, No.

She didn't "Sell" that plane on Ebay either! It is VERY obvious Karl Rove wrote her speech, because it was full of half-truths.

WOW... Hypocrisy? NO... Not from the GOP! LOL. I think darrick_04 just stated above Karl Rove is the mastermind of brainwashing, and in this case it is proof he blasts inexperience and small town governing as not being capable to lead this country, now all of a sudden it's remarkable and amazing! LOL LOL LOL ;0

Great find Nathan.

Did anyone else notice that Sen. McCain referred to President Bush only as the 43rd President and Laura Bush as our First Lady? He didn't dare say the word Bush... that is so wrong!

When you have no record to run on, you run from it...

-- Posted by darrick_04 on Thu, Sep 4, 2008, at 10:12 PM

Read those together.. You'll understand, no record to brag about since 2001... Only heard 4 minutes worth of his plans for the future, the rest of the time we heard about how he was in Vietnam. He talks about it so much, you'd think he was still there. I remember another Vietnam Veteran who got ZERO respect from the SAME PERSON who is now writing McCain/Palin speeches, and the same person who demoralized McCain in the 2000 Race. Karl Rove.

Are you just throwing this out there at random now? Are you referring to McCain here? I'm betting he's got a heck of a lot more "record" than Obama does.

If you're referring to Palin I would just ask two questions:

Why in the world are people comparing the VP candidate of one party with the Presidential candidate of the other party?

and

Do they have SO much respect for their candidate that they think he's comparable to the VP of the other pary?

His coverage of Obama's speech was hilarious!

Jon Stewart is one of the greatest "anchors" on TV. He's pretty liberal, but he hits on both parties fairly equally...pointing out not only hypocrisy but (more importantly) stupidity.

He does beat up on both sides pretty equally. I like watching because they find those CSPAN moments that no one would ever know about otherwise.
