Welcome to my new office. Have a seat. Relax. There are no forms to fill out. You need not show any ID or proof of insurance. There are never any co-pays here. You can say what you want, when you want to say it. And you don't even have to wait until your appointment! In fact, I don't make appointments for this office. The waiting room is the whole World (Wide Web).
I am Dr. Monajjem; Doc M for short. I am a surgeon, trained in Jackson, Mississippi. I grew up in Ohio, but I have been a Southerner since 1991. I have only been in Shelbyville since May of 2006, but I now say Shel'vl. I guess that means this is my hometown now. I will maintain and contribute to this blog for this reason, more than my being a doctor. I may dabble in some medical stuff here and will try to pass on some useful information, but I really want to learn more about you, Bedford County. What makes you tick?
So, come on in. There's a Times-Gazette on that table over there, and a copy of the rules for this office on the wall. Have a cup of coffee and join in the conversation. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

WELCOME!and God Bless!
Hi Doc, welcome to the blogs. There really is getting to be a group with a diverse background on here. And many difference experiences, I'm sure. Nice to have you on here.
Welcome Doc! Nice to meet you here on the blogs. No offense meant, but I hope I never need you professionly.

Hello Doc! Good to see you here. Welcome!
Wow, you sound pretty relaxed for a surgeon ;) Are you sure you're not a radiologist?
Tim Baker MD
Madison, AL
SCHS Class 1980
Dr. Baker,
Thanks for the response, Doc. I graduated HS in 1983...what is your specialty? You must not be a radiologist because you posted at 0150...a radiologist would have been asleep, hehe.
Doc M, Thanks for the job you did for me last Tuesday afternoon. Looking forward to hearing back from you next week to get the results of the biopsy. For those who don't know Doc M. he's a wonderful person and surgeon.
Thanks Doc,
Robinson

A belated welcome to you. I have just become acquainted with your blog.
We appreciate your medical contribution to our growing community as well as your fresh look at some old problems. Your unemotional wisdom and wit is refreshing.
Could you write some of us a prescription for antinegativity and give instruction on where to get it filled?
Maybe a pill is not as effective as therapy - keep up the good work. Even when we don't comment, we are reading.
