The Greatest?

Well, today is the big day.
Arguably the greatest professional football quarterback will helm what could be one of the greatest teams in NFL history in Super Bowl XLII. The Patriots will cement their status as a dynasty with a victory. But, what a great story - the greatest - if young Eli Manning, downtrodden, inexperienced, frustrated quarterback of the Giants at midseason, can engineer one of the greatest upsets in Super Bowl history. Ticket prices are at record levels, TV audience will probably break records, and only the commercials and the halftime show will continue to disappoint. I will be ready with my 10 year old son, my old-fashioned, similarly-aged Sony Trinitron, some pulled Boston Butt with Texas Pete and barbecue sauce, chips and dip. Hopefully, it will all come together as the greatest Super Bowl ever. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
