What a game it was!
Eli Manning, on the shoulders of one of the greatest defensive efforts ever, has taken the Giants to victory over the "unbeatable" Patriots! And how about that 30 yard catch and "unsack"! Super Bowl XLII is in the books, and certainly one of the Greatest Super Bowls ever. Congratulations Eli and the New York Giants. I will second that congratulations and must say that game had me on the edge of my seat, yes, without a doubt one of the greatest Super Bowls ever. I knew that Eli would pull it off, he had the heart, Brady just has the ego.
Noone deserved that MVP trophy more than Eli.
That was one of the best finishes that I can remember. For several years it seems as if the game is over before the 4th quarter.
I am so, so happy that the Giants won and that the Patriot supporters in the media have been put in their place. No one gave the Giants a chance and I think that worked to their advantage. The whole ruse about Brady's ankle just made me want the Giants to win even more.
Two brothers with back-to back MVP's and Super Bowl wins will be a record that will stand for a long long time. Archie may not have got his but his boys did it for him. Gotta love the Mannings.
Didn't watch a second of the game, but I am so glad that Eli and the Giants won...
Just goes to show, being undefeated doesn't mean anything, when you lose the most important game of the year.
It also goes to show that if you cheat then karma comes around and bites you in the butt eventually. Also, Bill showed his true colors by leaving before the game was officially over. The Patriots though are kind of classless anyway . . . so, I am glad the Giants won.
Yeah we are so excited! It truly was an awesome game and the Giants certainly earned that title and it was well deserved!
