Dani Rae (named after Sadie's father who passed away in December) was born at 18:30 on 1/19. She was 6 lbs 4 oz and 18 3/4 inches long. She is adorable, healthy and amazing!!!! I have never been more tired and I am sure my wife feels the same way. I have also never felt more joy! Wife's water started leaking on Monday evening but she was not in labor. Had to induce her. Over the next 22 hours she progressed well until she reached 8 cm. Then progress stopped and the cervix started to thicken again, so Dani Rae had to be delivered by C-section. Sadie did fantastic through it all.....she is tougher than bull beef.....a truly remarkable woman! -- Jackie Fowler

Jack is excited that she was born on Robert E. Lee's birthday....she will be a true southern belle
