Does anyone know how to go about signing up for a softball league/any teams that need players?

For years, I have been interested in playing, but do not know anything about local league (s).

I would appreciate any direction.

Thanks!

I thought sure one of the sports writers would direct you but I guess not..

There use to be several women's softball teams here in Shelbyville, I don't know if they even have one anymore or not.

I played many moons ago for Josten's, Empire had a team also as did many of the church groups in town.

I searched the t-g for women's softball and got zero results I also searched adult softball and got a few results but 2005 was the lastest article in the t-g and that was mens.

You might check with the rec center

Miss Sadie, if you've got your heart set on playing softball, learning how to chew (Beechnut) tobacco and spittin proper might be a good first item on your list. LOL

Good Luck!

Ditto, try the Rec Center. Many local churches have women's and mixed teams as well.
