Baby News

Posted Thursday, January 21, 2010, at 12:12 PM

Dani Rae (named after Sadie's father who passed away in December) was born at 18:30 on 1/19. She was 6 lbs 4 oz and 18 3/4 inches long. She is adorable, healthy and amazing!!!! I have never been more tired and I am sure my wife feels the same way. I have also never felt more joy! Wife's water started leaking on Monday evening but she was not in labor. Had to induce her. Over the next 22 hours she progressed well until she reached 8 cm. Then progress stopped and the cervix started to thicken again, so Dani Rae had to be delivered by C-section. Sadie did fantastic through it all.....she is tougher than bull beef.....a truly remarkable woman! -- Jackie Fowler

Jack is excited that she was born on Robert E. Lee's birthday....she will be a true southern belle

God has richly blessed you with a new wounderful life to help heal the passing of you Dad.

Proverbs 22:6 starts to shed some light on the question as to what is your responsibility to your child.

6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

We need the right attitude.to.Understand that children are a gift of God. The Bible says in Psalm 127:3 Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.

Here is the bottom line. Children are a gift from God and they can be an incredible blessings to your marriage if you obey God and fulfill your responsibility as parents. As parents you have a short amount of time.YOU..Need to understand the goal at hand now. You need to start the training right from the crib.

I would propose to you that your responsibilties as parents are to Love your children, Discipline them, and Train them up in the way they should g, and when they ar old they will not turn from it. GOD BLESS you with this new life..

Dani is so blessed to have been given a mom like you.

She is so cute. And I know she was sent to you and your husband from Heaven.

When one door closes another one opens. Her grand pa would be so proud of her.

Keep a journal, take lots of pictures. She will be all grown up before you know it.

Congradulations to you and your husband.....
