It is time to restrict water use.Posted Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at 8:09 PM
The water shortage seems to have no end in sight. I hope the trend changes tomorrow, but our officials should start more stringent cutbacks NOW.
Since the voluntary request, I wonder how much water usage had declined. Does anyone know? My bet would be that we are still watering our yards, washing our cars, etc in the same fashion as before.
Do not wait until we are critical. It appears that it will happen much sooner than we thought.
And pray hard for rain!
