"eBay Local" Pure Gravy for BusinessPosted Saturday, November 17, 2007, at 7:53 AM
That is the title of an article in eBay's current newsletter. What they are announcing is a new program in early 2008 that will allow you to list local pick up for your items in addition to being able to list it for shipping.
eBay has always allowed 'bricks and mortar' stores the ability to advertise their local business, but now it will be even easier. They are also going to release "mapped search results" that will give your customers detailed directions to your store.
If there was ever a time to incorporate eBay into your store's marketing plans, now seems like a great one!
