Here is an internet based newsletter for sustainable farming that even us small time organic gardeners can appreciate.

Great price, FREE. http://www.newfarm.org/

This used to be a paper based magazine but financial concerns almost shut it down. They will ask for donations, but are by no means obnoxious about it.

Topics in this month are:

Hugely successful Kansas grain mill operators share humble beginnings regenerating the land.

Illinois farmer recounts transition to organic

Farm to school creates local market

Questions and answers about ethanol, direct marketing, transitioning to organic and more.

Steve Mills and his wife have one daughter and live on a farm outside of Bell Buckle. They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide. Hobbies and interests lie in gardening, photography, recorded music and of course, their pets.
