Is it Seasonal Affective Disorder or what ........?Posted Sunday, December 9, 2007, at 8:42 PM
Is TV boring, predictable or too filthy to even watch by yourself? I look at the TV line-up and find it VERY difficult to find something I can watch with my family that isn't embarrassing, gross, boring or depressing.
I end up sitting at this computer doing work or surfing for ideas about my hobbies, but lately my hobbies and work are blending together so I have decided it is time to become more disciplined about separating them.
Years ago I loved photography and thought I would like to make it a career. That is, until I lived it, slept it, and could not make time to live a real live outside of it. The end result was that I sold my darkroom, most of my equipment and did not pick up a camera for almost 15 years.
I love gardening, but I almost made the mistake of developing it as a livelihood too. Whew, close call! At least now I can still get away from all the rest by reading, planning and talking about the soil, plants, the weather.
Now if it would just RAIN!
