Happy Happy Bedford CountyPosted Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at 7:40 AM
Somehow, I was the only one in our household to watch the ball drop, even though I was the one wanting to go to bed early. I've got to work on that for next year.
This is our first without our daughter being in the house. She was having her OWN party at her OWN apartment. Nothing too emotional, we just miss her cheery presence. I resisted being Dad and cal;ling her at New Year's moment and she is surely not a morning person, so it will have to wait. Happy New Year to all. I pray that sanity and civility returns to more of the world this year. |
Steve Mills and his wife have one daughter and live on a farm outside of Bell Buckle. They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide. Hobbies and interests lie in gardening, photography, recorded music and of course, their pets.
