The title pretty much says what I am thinking. It does not matter if it rains tomorrow or for the next week, we should start stronger restrictions NOW.

Yes I read the majority of the EIS and skimmed the rest.
When framestraight gets over the headache perhaps he could add a bit more information about the Bedford County aquifer.
Did you read all that? If framestraight had a headache before, this will finish him off. (Figuratively)
Well this TVA EIS Report sure opened my eyes! Shucks, some of you may want to read it too.

Sorry for 2 posts- Headache.
Steve;
Last I heard was that Bresden was miffed because about 50 neighbors told his wife off because they don't need that kind facility in their neighborhood. Bresden took offense to it. The REAL problem with Bresden is that he only knows how to endorse the back of a check, however he doesn't know how to fill out the front of one. A project that started out @ 9 million funded by private funds, is now 19 million funded by the taxpayers. He will win because of his personal views on spending. (The Well Will Never Run Dry) I know that this comment might offend some on the Blog, but believe me, they will get to you some how.
One of my sidelines is trading Foreign Currencies. (Forex) Bush's stimulus package is for banks only! Private citizens WILL NOT benefit. This is a little bit off the topic, but our Treasury Secretary Brenanke & Paulson were appointed by the President. They hold millions of dollars in stock options, from previous employers. Do you know, when that leave their current positions and cash in those options, that our Congress has conveniently passed a law that their income is NON-TAXABLE! The Coyote is guarding the hen house. They say we all are going to get a check from the government. Bet you it is taxable. The dollar today is worth $.66 cents. Why don't we buy more from China and get our aircraft designs from them. Recently there has been a breach of military security with a U.S. firm who designs & maintains Military Communications. What Next? The U.S. is spiraling down.
Ron Paul had an interview with a ex-head of the IRS.He asked him if Personal Income tax was law. The IRS man wouldn't answer the question because there is NO LAW. When Woodrow Wilson gave control of the U.S. monetary system to the U.S Government while President, he stated after his stature was over "I believe I have made the gravest mistake that a President could make" Ron Paul asked the IRS man, 'How come we still have to pay personal income tax" His answer: Whoever has the most guns wins.
The problem is that people in communities have changed. By this I mean that instead of me doing business with Steve, jkelly, puppydinks, Diana, and Cheryl, and they do business with me, we keep our money in THIS community. That has all changed. When you go to Wal-Mart, the money goes to Arkansas, then China. The money is one sided, not in our favor. New World Order: What a bunch of hogwash. Enough about my BS.
All comments on this Blog make sense as far as the water goes!
I hope they get this water crisis handled in short order.

I totally agree! We should have started months ago if you ask me.......what are we waiting for?! I personally have already cut my water usage back and think about the water shortage everytime I use it. It's like everything else in the world that we take for granted........
I guess they're waiting for it to "officially" become a "crisis" - but then it'll be way too late!!
Is the dining hall still on track? I hoped it would have imploded by now.
If my well is not affect that much by local groundwater, maybe I should consider reviving that puppy. Something was feeding my pond this year and the well is right next to the pond.
P.S. I read where the local powers to be were asking Bresden for direction of our water situation. Maybe if everybody took up smoking, and taught their kids to smoke, he could get enough tax money to fund his 19 million dollar dining hall. What does he know or care about water? My suggestion was to bypass him and go directly to our State representatives. They will get something done. I think the point was a mussel that is in Normandy Lake.
Like any business, it boils down to Management, right Steve?
I'll sign this one, "Torqued at the Crankshaft"
I did a study for the Bedford County aquifer a couple of years ago. The aquifer
starts above Nashville in Southern Kentucky. It runs South until Murfreesboro. Then it splits East & West, West to Lewisburg, East to Chattanooga. Rainfall here in Bedford County is kind of immaterial for our ground water. Like someone said, it will rain on their driveway, and be dry as a bone at the house. I know the feeling. I have a 150 Ft. Sulfur well. Installed a new pump last spring. Water was 8 ft. from the top of the casing. When my wife burned the pump up in August, I pulled the pump. Water was 21 Ft. from the top of the casing. A 13 ft. drop in the aquifer. The study was done by the U.S. Geological Survey in the early 80's. So keep your eyes on Southern Kentucky and North Nashville snow and rainfall for the coming year water table.
I would hope that comes about, but if it doesn't, we are that much further in trouble. I would rather let water out than try to manufacture it.
Maybe they are holding out for a wet spring?
I completely agree. You know what they say about, "an ounce of prevention".
