Rain, rain come today, and come again another day.Posted Sunday, February 17, 2008, at 10:49 AM
Isn't it GREAT out there today? The title is a little play on an old childhood saying, but the rain looks good, smells good and if it were a little warmer, it would feel good!
Even the wind is exhilarating but not much more! When I got the paper this morning , I loved to feel mother nature blowing around me. Of course, I am a little twisted, but..... I need to re-pot the seedlings I have inside today, and of course Debbi has a few ideas for things I can do on a rainy day as well. Even our daughter had a suggestion for our day! Now that she is a college student, she has learned the value of money and invited us to come eat with her. I did not ask who was paying, but it is nice to be thought of anyway. HAVE A GREAT DAY! An underground cistern! I am envious already.
I just hope we continue getting rain beyond the last frost date. I'm so eager to set my runoff barrels up again. I think I have my hubby almost talked into letting me put a cistern underground in the back yard too. My garden will love that!
