The site is not up yet, so we can not judge how effective or how open it will be, but eBay launches "eBay Ink," next month. It is being described as a "no-holds-barred corporate blog helmed by a new company recruit, social media veteran Richard Brewer-Hay" and "aims to give eBay's users a direct, unfiltered communications link with the company".

Richard is a newcomer to eBay but his wife has been buying and selling ( mostly buying) since 1999. They hope that by being an outsider, he will be more objective and believable. He says he has freedom to discuss whatever seems to be of interest to the eBay community.
