Garden Gleanings - Let's start the gardening club now!Posted Sunday, March 9, 2008, at 8:29 AM
Spring is upon us and no better time than NOW to see if we can get a group of gardeners together. We have had maybe 4-5 state their interest here and I bet there are at least 5 more that could help us start this.
When I was involved with the TLSA we had a tough time getting small farm folks to give up their weekend days, even though it was a subject of keen interest, so maybe an evening would be better.
If we hold it during the week, we will miss some people who travel, some who have to get their family ready for the next day, etc. That leaves Friday evening or Saturday/Sunday late afternoon or evening.
Once we set a time and place, we could take it to the T_G and see if they will publicize it for us. Since it is a development of their blog, I would thin they would live the idea.
