Garden meeting TONIGHT! MEETING WILL GO ON!!Posted Friday, April 11, 2008, at 8:08 AM
We seem to have trouble getting the meeting publicized so PLEASE talk it up and bring a friend.
We try to drift in around 6:30, eat if we are so inclined and then start as semi-organized meeting at 7:00. Where? In the Hong Kong Restaurant meeting room on Madison Street in Shelbyville.
At least some of the free plants or cuttings to be shared will be African violets, rosemary, garlic chives, another kalanchoe plant, Opuntia cactus, lemon mint, watercress, and catnip. Who knows what might show up? Those bringing plants do not want to go back home with the same cuttings they brought, so please plan on taking something home with you.
We will also try our first PowerPoint discussion on composting and if time allows, worm composting. Got some experience with this? We would love to hear your experiences.
