We pray our neighbors escaped with minor damagePosted Friday, April 11, 2008, at 3:07 PM
Although we just got done cutting trees out of the local roads, and saw damage to some roofs, our part of Bell Buckle seemed to escape the major wrath of the storm. We hope all can say the same thing, but we are starting to hear differently.
Several neighbors came to help clear the roads and we know that neighbors will help neighbors. That is one of the beautiful aspects of communities. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
Steve Mills and his wife have one daughter and live on a farm outside of Bell Buckle. They previously owned two coffee/ice cream shops, currently operate an internet sales company and teach classes, but his primary job involves the paper industry worldwide. Hobbies and interests lie in gardening, photography, recorded music and of course, their pets.

I hope everyone is alright, also.
I just heard of a subdivion in the northern part of Shelbyville/Bedford Co. being destroyed. Is that true? The person that told me this is non-reliable when it comes to these types of situations.
We shall have video online shortly.
I watched the video.
I have to say I am proud of our school system for not letting the children leave until the warning was over!
I am hoping that only property was damaged and that no one was hurt.
