Teen Center updatePosted Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 8:18 PM
We had students from three schools in attendance, as well as some interested adults. The students completed questionnaires about whether they thought a teen center was needed, what they would like to see provided, and how it would affect our community.
They were very interested in seeing this "get off the ground." They had some new ideas and many of them corresponded with what our committee has been discussing. So, that was good!
We kicked around some possibilities for names. No decision was made about that. We will plan to meet Sunday, May 18 at People's Bank from 2-3 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
