Note: The nature of the Internet makes it impractical for our staff to review every comment. Please note that those who post comments on this website may do so using a screen name, which may or may not reflect a website user's actual name. Readers should be careful not to assign comments to real people who may have names similar to screen names. Refrain from obscenity in your comments, and to keep discussions civil, don't say anything in a way your grandmother would be ashamed to read.
  • What exactly is eBay Live? Just curious. I've been using eBay for years and I've never bothered to look it up. I'm not asking you to explain this for the benefit of my laziness, but others may not know what it is either.

And then I can make up for my laziness by reading your answer...lol.

  • It is THE national convention for all levels of eBay users. There are programs for Powersellers, Education Specialists, Trading Assistant, casual sellers, casual buyers, or anyone in between.

Just before the conference is the software developers conference. These folks are usually writing programs for eBay users.

Besides the workshops, there is a trade fair, eBay merchandise, award programs, banquets, breakfasts and a grand finale with entertainment.

There are also a lot of breakaway meetings with different eBay Community groups. Listing all the possibilities there would take up a few more paragraphs since they have collector groups, seller groups, shipping, international, local clubs, general hobbies and interests far apart from eBay like:

    Coffee Lovers

    6,056 members

    Dogs

    5,127 members

    Jewelry

    3,330 members

    Harley Davidson

    2,992 members

    Cats

    2,682 members

"Groups for Groups", blogs etc., etc.

The Basic convention is 3 days with added days for specialty groups mentioned above.
