I hear that some of you fom Friday's group are coming this Sunday. I sure hope all the others who have not been able to make Friday will be at the Chamber this Sunday at 6:30.
I will be bringing some tomato plants, eggplants and some house plants to share. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

I was not able to make the Friday's meeting due to a sinus infection. I didn't want to be rude by blowing my nose constantly.
I have to work on Sunday until 7 pm, and depending on how I feel, I will try to make it to the meeting.
Hope you make it Mary. Bring the kids, no worries.
By the way folks. The tomato and eggplants were given away yesterday. We will bring some houseplant cuttings in their place.
If anyone wants watercress, speak up.
Have you ever had a party and no one came? If so, you know what it was like last night waiting for fellow gardeners who chose not to come to the trial meeting.
Guess that answers that, so we are back to Fridays.
So no one showed up?
I have to say I am shocked. There seemed to be a big response to the mention of a weekend meeting. I wonder if some people wanted to stay inside since it was a bit chilly yesterday?
I couldn't make it because a girl left work early due to being sick, and I picked up some of her shift.
Sorry, Steve. For the next meeting, I should feel 100%!
Plan on Friday night Mary, May 23 at 6:30 in the Hong Kong Restaurant. If another group wants to start, I will be happy to support it, but I will not be making the arrangements.
I hope it isn't because I had already given away the tomatoes and eggplants. I had garlic chives, kalanchoe starts, watercress, lemon mint and catnip, but ......
I think it was Mother's Day that hurt your attendance.
Memorial Day weekend might be iffy as well.
(Graduations,Decoration days,Fun Show,Renn Faire,Nash-Con,re-enactments,etc.)
Expect things to pick up later.
Yeah, my hubby and son decided to surprise me with a "mom-don't-do-nuthin" dinner... they grilled steaks, taters, the works. And, they both cleaned up the mess too. Wow!
I'm so sorry I missed Sunday's meeting. I feel really bad about it.
