A dear pet lost todayPosted Sunday, June 15, 2008, at 10:56 AM
You have seen his photo before jumping in his first snow this past winter or jumping from a tree to a swing set. He was so full of life and a GREAT jumper.
What we could not show you was his loving nature. The hugs he would give us, the way he would nuzzle us and lay on our chest purring. Life can sometimes be cruel, but we treasure the year and three months he brightened our lives.
He died of a disease that he probably had at birth. We would have been overprotective had we known his days were going to be so short, but he would not have been Cooper, mischievous and loving at the same time.
We miss all our pets when they leave us, but there are always a few that really touch us. The Lord gave us a precious gift in Cooper and we will miss him VERY MUCH.
