Garden Gleanings - Weed'em & Reap this Friday Night!!Posted Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 2:31 PM
The next meeting of the Weed'em & Reap garden club is this Friday night. Talk about excitement, this will be our first meeting under the new banner! For those of you who have been dying to join us but wanted a name first, we are now official.

The artichokes are healthy looking but seemed to have stopped growing. This is my first time growing them and I did not intend to overwinter them, but may not have a choice if they don't start kicking again.
Has anyone else had a lull with their bird feeder activity? I guess they are feeding on the natural cuisine, but we have had a definite reduction in visitors. The goldfinches have returned and a few cardinals, but.....
