Weed'em and Reap member LaRell Shannon with her monster zuke.Posted Saturday, August 9, 2008, at 2:23 PM
LaRell Shannon with the results of her first attempt at growing zukes.
Conversation was quite varied again. Barbara once again has a mystery plant, Mike brought us a variety of sunflowers, Kay claimed her fig tree and Cindy won the one for next meeting, but we will have an extra, since so many are expressing interest in them. Congratulations La Rell. Nice looking Zucchini.
Steve; Looks like the club is THINKING which is a great accomplishment. Kudos to you for bringing people together. The community needs this. I would be there, however, I am dealing with Issues at this moment. Thanks for your inspiration, and the members participation.

Then, I'd stuff myself! LOL!
Sorry I missed the meeting...But My son and my husband and I went out to put the chairs up for the up coming Horse Show...Wow what a night...We started at 6pm and walked into our home at 3:35am...5 tractor trailer full and they were in the trucks 3 levels high...I had sore muscles in places I did not know I had muscles...I haven't counted all the bruises on my arms...I hope to be at the next one...I will not have to be there to clean up until about 10:30 that night....Sorry I missed it...But when you are able to make a little extra money you have to do it when it comes along.....
Many people do not realize what goes on behind the scenes of these shows. It also points out the less than obvious benefits to local folk who are able to make some extra money.
Maybe our meeting will help relax those muscles.
