The door prize will be a book entitled "Grandmother's Critter Ridder" by Dr. Myles Bader. It is a book of home remedies and common sense for getting rid of pests without the use of dangerous chemicals.

Each time I pick it up, I get fascinated with solutions like 20 things to do for fire ants. If you have not had the "pleasure" yet, fire ants are something you want to get after RIGHT AWAY. While in Mississippi, I continuously fought them and I only had a small quarter acre lot. And BITE, OUCH!

Hopefully I don't change my mind about giving it away. I wrote this to lock it in, but each time I pick it up, there is more that catches my attention. Maybe if I read fast enough....

lol. Yeah, Sunday would be another hard day to fit anything else into....as would, Monday and Tuesday and Wednesd......etc. You know, all those "other" days.

Hopefully you can make it some day. We discussed moving the meeting to another day and have yet to find one that works for those currently attending.

I sat at the Chamber of Commerce on a Sunday to see if others would want to start a Sunday chapter but got very lonely, so that did not work.

Darn! I'm sure there will be a H.S. Football game somewhere that will require our attendance. ;(

Maybe one of these nights I'll make it to one of the meetings.

Barbara called to say she was bringing some cuttings of one of her mystery trees.
