Where does one get good selection, prices and service these days on tech stuff?Posted Friday, October 24, 2008, at 9:54 AM
This question evolved from another post and I thought it might deserve its' own discussion. Some of us are disenchanted with Best Buy and CompUSA is history now, so where does one go for good selection, price AND service?
Maybe it is not able to be found in one package anymore (if it ever was) but at least during the warranty period it would be nice if the store we bought it from was a good option.
I know we have techies out there who are good service folks, but I see them as solutions after the initial purchase. Maybe I am wrong, so let's explore.
Maybe paying $100-200 more for a computer from a smaller, local store is actually saving money when you consider driving, time and lack of good service when you need help.
