Where does one get good selection, prices and service these days on tech stuff?

    Newegg.com is really good too, but you have to pay tax.

  • I know the owner(s) of Preferred Computer Solutions.... VERY honest people, who perform quality work. Definitely take your stuff there.. I believe it located on North Jefferson Street (Hoodlum Alley).

  • oh i bought a fantastick laptop for my husband at bestbuy last month, i looked online first and found the closeouts..

    i took the printout to the store.. It was a 1500.00 laptop for 600.00 Whoo hooo!!

    I am a computer tech so i work on my own..

    There is no reason to hate Vista. If you are a home user and use your computer for web browsing and e-mail, Vista is a good choice because of its User Account Control system which is absent in XP.
