Did everyone else know but me?

Posted Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at 8:44 AM

I use the T-G News Page as my home page here and for that reason, rarely go to the home page. WRONG!

I have been missing a photography bulletin board, for I don't know HOW LONG. My Bad as it is popular to say.

If by chance, you do not know to what I am referring, go "home" and scroll down the left hand side to "Your pictures".

While there, check out the other stuff. I think I am going to change MY home page to the T-G home page and check the news when it arrives at our driveway.

(Disclaimer- I am not employed by the T-G) I have just been missing something and thought someone else might be the same.

To help promote our user-submitted photo feature, we're going to have a little contest. We encourage you to upload photos of the best outdoor Christmas lights and decorations you've seen this year. We've set up a special category for this which will remain open until 5 p.m. Monday. The best photo will be featured on the front page of the print newspaper, and we may feature some of the other photos in the newspaper as we have room. (Of course, all submissions will be viewable online.)

We've also picked some of the best of those user-submitted photos and featured them in the print newspaper from time to time.
