Great ideas for everyone "going green" from the printing industry

The printing industry is part of my business, so I receive newsletters. Here is one that could apply to almost ANY industry or ANY individual who is interested in doing more to conserve.

This could be valuable in any economy but it might make even MORE sense today.

Part of the problem now is there is NO value to plastics or paper. Many of the mills have stopped buying because advertising is down, newspapers are getting smaller so less paper is needed.

I really wish that our city and county would make it easier to go green. Recycling plastic and cardboard here is such an inconvenience that most people don't even bother.

When I first started separating my recylables from my trash, I had one of the attendees at a local "convenience center" suggest that I throw it all into the trash dumpster. She couldn't understand why I was so adamant about finding a place to take it.

Just because we're a small town is no excuse to not get on the recycling bandwagon.
