New "My eBay" page is about to become finalPosted Sunday, January 18, 2009, at 12:26 PM
January 20th is the day that the new look and layout of our "My eBay" page will be locked in. If you have not gone to the beta version, it might be good to do it before panic sets in.
My first reaction months ago was "YUK, why change", but after we have used it a little while, most seem to be improvements. I am still trying to modify it for a comfortable fit, but I will adjust. A new appearance is also coming for those of us who have an eBay Store. I don't really see any changes that will affect us much but maybe I will as I delve into it more. It will be set in March. A few days ago the deadline for removing statements about alternate payments passed. We worked until late in the evening to double-check our listings and finally removed about 500+ that we could not complete. We would rather do that than find out we are suspended for some technicality, and we still are not sure we purged everything. Annoying? Yup, but life goes on and we have not found a better marketplace, YET. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

so what is your user name?? What do you sell??
I refrain from giving my eBay store name because the T-G prefers we do not promote our business here. Some of you know it already, but I can discuss products.
We used to sell a lot of collector teddy bears from a clients inheritance. Along with that we sell a lot of hand-made photo albums, records, some Barbies and a lot of miscellaneous collectibles.
Although we are Trading Assistants and I am an Educations Specialist, we do not solicit merchandise from the general public. Usually, it finds us, plus we have PLENTY of "stuff" of our own.
That is how we originally started selling on eBay. We wanted to clear up some space. I am not sure we have made a big dent in that yet, because we continue to go to auctions and yard sales, but we keep trying.
With a daughter in college and plenty of medical bills, the eBay income helps us tread water.

I have a autistic son and it help with medication expenses..
Peace.
