Watercress in early spring.
It has been a full day, so not much rambling at the moment, but I did not want to miss the chance to remind you that we REALLY like to see new faces at the meetings.

We will be in the back room of the Hong Kong Restaurant on Madison Street in Shelbyville. No dues, no officers, just plain talk about gardening.

The fig trees are putting out leaves. I could not get them to change their minds so I guess I will have to cover them on Monday.

Remember, if you want some watercress, let me know before tomorrow, so I can set some aside. We have had big bowls of watercress soup for the last few days. I am also happy to bring more cactus leaves if anyone needs more.
