Navy Petty Officer Mike Monsoor: A Hero we all need to read about

Edgar wrote to me VERY upset that there are not more stories in the National News of the heroic acts our service men and women are performing each day for our country. Edgar, I hope you understand why I did not post your "exact" comments.

Petty Officer Monsoor gave his life protecting his fellow Seals when he had the only escape route available to any of them.

Each SEAL in attendance removed his gold Trident from his uniform, and attached it to Petty Officer Monsoor's coffin with a slap embedding the Trident in the wooden coffin. Thus the picture accompanying this blog.

Love, cherish and deeply appreciate the sacrifices made by all of our service members.
