eBay Chatter - I'm baaaack. Changes as always

Posted Monday, April 13, 2009, at 8:21 PM

I received an e-mail from a loyal reader and since one out of three is a big percentage, I have to respond. She wanted to know why I was not writing about eBay much anymore, especially with the economy being in its' present state.

I admit, I have been wrapped up in gardening, gardening and more gardening, but now that the average last frost date is nearing, maybe I can relax. I hope if I make that statement with certainty, it will come true, so the average last frost date is April 15th. By the way, Weed'em & Reap is back this coming Saturday. I'll make a separate post.

With eBay classes about to start up again and interest at a peak with the economy, the blogging will commence. So what to start with? How about eBay Picture Manger? If you have been using this feature, you probably already know it is going away and there are some changes with Picture Services as well. Go here to "read all about it" http://pages.ebay.com/picture_manager/fa...

We never used the manager, preferring to save our pictures on our computer and only upload upon listing. I use some light html to post a picture of one of our collectors in a template for teddy bears and self-host it using our web pages, but we are not big on constant use of html in our listings. Too much work and my typing is poor at best.

In case you are not comfortable with photographing for internet use, I am have a page to cover basic digital camera selection, photo taking, & editing. It is not the end-all to photography but maybe it will help. It is not reachable from the website, so please contact me. Steve@bedfordtradingpost.com
