  • Whew! I know we have to have some people hurting from this rain. We were wondering if we had leaks from the hail storm a few weeks ago. I think we know now.

At least the lakes should get full and I don't have to water my garden, if I have one left after the new streams drain. Right now it looks like a good year for rice, but two weeks from now, we might be asking for more rain. Sure wish I had that rainwater catch system in place. A BIG ONE!

  • Yeah it is a soggy mess in the garden now. But I was surprised that I did not sink very much when I went out to pick some turnip greens for my wife's grandmother and my mother in law. I quess the hard rains packed it down a little. But man the veggies are loving the rain.

  • All my plants are in above ground hay bales, so they are doing super well. 2 tomatoe plants are already over 4 feet tall.
