Mr. Elkins -- Until we meet againPosted Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 5:22 PM
There are many folks who knew Mr. James Elkins better than I, but in the far too few years I have known him I can say without any hesitation that he exemplified the best in human kindness, commitment to the community, his church and family. I am not the best person to eulogize him, but hopefully others can use this forum to do so.
The community paid their respects last night and today in truly respectful manner that reflects the love and caring they had for this military, as well as community patriot. If you can, watch the video clip here on the news page of the T-G by Mary Reeves.
