From another blog, a reader wants to learn more about puppy adoption.Posted Monday, May 18, 2009, at 9:18 AM
My children want a puppy, and I am getting use to the idea. I know a lot of people that have pets, and do not take care of them, nor do anything with them. I have a lot of questions.
Where is the best local vets, can they keep you informed on what to feed your pet and how often, of course all the shots, worming, and spay/neutering?
How much cold weather is too cold, and hot weather is too hot?
I do not like any aggressive dogs, so what kind of dogs are good for kids and are good to keep indoors, and want get too big?
Are Jack russel dogs good with kids and people?
Is their a place that will keep the dog groomed, are they expensive.
Is their a place or website that can give me all this information?
Having a pet is a lifelong commitment, and I want to be prepared for the little pooch, if I do in fact get one. One of my children has allergies real bad. She seems to react more around cats, I haven't really noticed anything around dogs though.
