Earn extra money as an eBay Trading Assistant.Posted Monday, June 1, 2009, at 10:38 PM
The economy has more people looking to make some cash from their excess 'stuff' laying around the house. In some cases, it is just stuff while others need to sell antiques, collectibles, electronics, primitive and vintage articles.
They don't have the skills or time to learn eBay and are looking for people to sell for them. If you are an experienced seller with over 100 feedbacks and better than 98% satisfaction rating, consider registering with eBay as a Trading Assistant. http://ebaytradingassistant.com/index.ph...
There may be folks selling on consignment locally that I don't know about, but there are only two of us in this county registered with eBay. I have to be very selective in taking on new clients, and the other person seems to be extra busy as well, so that sounds like an opportunity.
I have someone right now who wants to sell antiques and I am about to refer them to people out-of-town. It will not be convenient for either side in this arrangement, but I do not have a lot of choices.
This is not a "get rich quick" business, and it requires work, but it costs nothing to sign up. You need to agree to abide by certain code of ethics and maintain your satisfaction level but the link above will answer most of your questions. eBay does not set your commission price, but they do have some limitations on how you use their name and represent yourself, so do some reading.
Yes, I may be encouraging my own competition, but people need help and I would like to see experienced eBayers doing that, not shysters looking for a quick buck. If you would like more answers, ask the questions here and I will do what I can, but be careful NOT to post any identifying information.
