What the heck! Government is considering taxing personal use of business phone?

Were we not warned about higher taxes with this administration? They MAY take it from one side, but do they think we won't notice it from other directions?

As O remarked on his run up for office, "I am what you've been waiting for". Lord knows I hate to hurt his feelings, but no way in the world have I ever waited for him. This Prez term is turning into an unmitigated disaster.

Speaking of the commodes, all taxes that apply to us must apply to the legislators with no wiggle room or exemptions.

The government is going nuts with taxes and it is all about the dollar. Spend and tax! You didn't really believe the bail out was free did you? How about they put some taxes on the comodes at the legislative plaza. After all we know they are full of POOP!

It is kind of like how they want to tax health insurance benefits provided to people by employers. Why am I being punished because I actually have and pay for my insurance?

I deduct a large portion of my personal cell phone bill on my taxes. The majority of the phone calls are used for business and my employer doesn't pay it.

Wouldn't this be similar?

I guess this proposal would effect the self employed mainly?

I mean, if a business is paying for an employees cell phone to begin with, the employee is still coming out ahead in the long run.

But it is probably indicative of how close we have to watch. Slipping it into a monthly charge could missed by many.
