Weed'em & Reap Garden Club moving temporary change to Friday night, and Happy Father's Day!Posted Sunday, June 21, 2009, at 12:19 PM
Hong Kong Restaurant has always been gracious to let us use their party room for our meetings. This coming Saturday night, they have a party wanting to use the room and asked if we could change to another night.
I hope everyone can forgive me, but I said sure. Since we have had successful meetings on Friday night, maybe we can change back to it for this week's meeting and move it to 7:00 so others have time to get off work, take their showers, and pick up their gowns and tuxedos? Well, we could could drop the dress code and go with shorts, jeans, or anything that passes the decency codes. Hey, but the way, HAPPY FATHER's DAY. I got to run out to eat. I have three tomato plants and two each of muskmelon and cucumber if any one wants them.
My neighbors were going to take them weeks ago, but I don't think they are now. I know it's late to plant, but I hate to see them go to waste.
I am sure someone will want them at the meeting. Are you able to make it?
I only have one cuke and never tried muskmelon, so I am gave for one each.
I'll be there even though most of my plants are dying.
Pray for rain!
