eBay for thrift stores, regular retailers and who else?Posted Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 6:38 AM
It seems to be tough for thrift stores to get the value for their donations from the customers walking in their doors. Over two years ago this thrift shop started selling on eBay and they are seeing a surge in business. http://www.upnorthlive.com/news/story.as...
This could probably be said by many of our regular retail merchants as well. Instead of a hundred people viewing your inventory each day, what about a million? Should that increase your chances of selling?
Our sales have remained stable during this economic period. Our listing activity is down due to other "stuff" in our life but when we list more, we sell more. Duh! We know that, but finding the time and energy is not always that easy.
