Do you want to win a gardening book valued at $21.95?Posted Friday, August 7, 2009, at 7:42 AM
The New (lightly read) American Landscape Gardener
Here are the conditions: You have to know the event by name and what goes on there. You can not be a regular at this event AND you have to show up to get the book. You don't have to stay, although we would like you to, nor do you have to eat.
Be the first to 'nail it' and this hard covered (carefully loved) book will be yours to cherish by tomorrow night. I looked it up on a bookstore site and found it offered for $21.95.
This book was published by Rodale Books and the back cover states: This book tells you how to: Find out what you really want in your yard - Choose your yard's custom features - Create a landscape layout - Avoid design snafus (snafus?) - Deal with eyesores and other common problems - Pick the right plants - Plant and maintain your trees, shrubs, flowers and lawn
Whew! After I re-read all this, it makes me wonder if we really want to give it away, but no... we offered it, so....
