  • Oh and by the way, this book has 344 pages and includes color photographs, sketches, charts, specialty topics like Rock Gardens, Winter Gardens, Water, Wildlife, Woods, Lawns and even Meadows!

  • Whew! The responses are flooding in, but still no winner. Have I made it too hard? National Arbor Day only comes once a year and this happens every other week, but you are on the right track, it has something to do with growing.

And it is a group, but age does not matter, nor anything to do with government giveaways. We would not have room for the clunkers anyway.

Again, growing is on the right track, so let's give a hint. The group name has something to do with pulling, hoeing, or eliminating unwanted plants and it is something we would rather not do, but unfortunately Mother Nature often prevails.

Now, we are running short of time for this contest since IT happens tonight, so get the thinking cap on. The second part of the name is used in the Bible when folks "_______ what you sow". Sow not sew. It is not a sewing group.

Come on folks. Work with me here. Maybe if you have not read the Bible you know something about Halloween. A dark personality walks around with a scythe and is called the "Grim ______". Now yo got it?

    Anyone else have some hints?

If we do not get a winner, we will have to do a drawing for the book at the next Weed'em & Reap garden club meeting that starts tonight between 6:30-7:00 PM at the Hong Kong Restaurant on Madison Street in Shelbyville, TN.

  • Meeting is called Weed'em & Reap Garden Club. Basicly it for people who love to garden, to get advice from others pertaining to their gardens and tools to uses and etc. I'm sure a few receipes get passed around too as well as maybe some extra produce. I would love to have this book.

  • We have a winner!!!! The book is YOURS!!!

Hope you will be able to make our meeting so we can have the award ceremony. Well... we will hand you the book. No ceremony.

Thanks for playing along with us on this and we look forward to meeting you!! I hope you will also enjoy meeting our group as well.

I don't know about you folks, but I kind of liked this and as our members know, I have plenty of books so watch for something again.

One person was nice enough to remind me I should put a legal statement in here about one winner per household and no one from the Mills family can participate and........... well, you get the idea. I can't type as fast as they can say it on the radio and TV so, we will stop.

Some remembered my e-mail from other posts but next time I will put it in the contest. Sorry about that.

Thanks again patszoo for having fun with us.
